Roach Radio - Never Served, Never Supported

Different groups will look at congressional candidate Eric Roach’s recent talk radio appearance with convicted Republican felon Roger Hedgecock (OK, charges reduced on a technicality) and ask some questions about Roach's motivation to serve the public.

Hedgecock’s examination of Roach confirmed that Roach is not just an outsider to elective politics, but he is an outsider to public or community service. When asked to discuss his involvement within 50th Congressional District community, Roach could only point to involvement in activities at his church (Roach is a Mormon).

If you’re a Republican, I suspect that you might have problems voting for someone who claims to be a member of your party, but who has never been involved with party activities and who has never been involved with any of your party’s candidates for any elected office.

If you’re an independent, I suspect that you might have problems voting for someone whose primary contribution to your community has been church attendance.

If you’re undecided, I suspect that you might have problems voting for someone who has never shown any interest in either community service or elected politics until he saw an opportunity to buy a seat in congress.
