Another Bush First

"We advise people that this city has been destroyed. It has been completely destroyed."

George Bush, the first President of the United States to lose an entire city. Yes, parts a several were destroyed and damaged in the War of 1812 and the Civil War, but this is the first one to be completely lost.

Would a few hundred million dollars have made a difference relative to levee improvements? We'll never know.

Bush sat through a vacation briefing in August of 2001. The title of the briefing, "Bin Laden determined to strike in US." Bush listened and then got back to clearing brush and fishing.

This August, with a 300 year storm bearing down on half a million Americans, Bush continued to vacation, then flew off away from the disaster to play golf and raise funds for his party of corruption.

In 2001, the body count from Bush's lack of focus and concern was 3,000. What is the body count going to be from his lack of focus and concern?
