"An anti-war group will hold five candlelight vigils in North County tonight as part of a nationwide effort to support Cindy Sheehan, a grieving mother who has planted herself near the president's ranch in Crawford since earlier this month, drawing hundreds of supporters and a frenzy of media attention.
North County candlelight vigils tonight, all beginning at 7:30 p.m. Two are at private homes for which addresses were not listed. The locations of the other vigils include:
The Oceanside Municipal Pier, at the fire rings north of the pier;
Pilgrim United Church, 2020 Chestnut Ave., Carlsbad;
Moonlight Beach, B Street, Encinitas."
