Busby Denounces Dubia Deal - Hits Republicans on Port Security
Francine Busby, the only Democrat running against 15 Republicans in Duke Cunningham's old district the CA-50, was given the opportunity to deliver the Democratic Response to President Bush's "weakly" radio address.
Busby took the President to task for the ill conceived sale of United States port facilities to a company owned by the United Arab Emirates, a country that supports terrorists.
Busby also took the Republican Party to task for its continued failure to provide adequate funding for port security, including resources for U.S. Customs and the Coast Guard to accomplish their mission regarding the security of our ports of entry.
